Children's Program

Our Children’s Program is created to motivate and inspire beyond "5-6- 7-8." Created by Lauren Czajkowski-Gareau, each of these classes is designed to help your little one learn age-appropriate dance steps and proper terminology based on a two-year curriculum. Built for dancers ages 3-8, J’adore’s faculty guides students in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. We offer several styles and classes within this program, so take a look at the options and descriptions below!

Little stars (ages 3-4)

Through a combination of movement and interactive games, props and ballet basics, your dance will develop their love for dance, music, and performance in this introductory class.

Princess Ballet (ages 4-5)

Your dancer will explore her inner "princess" through story-telling, and ballet-based movement in costume. These “little ballerinas” will begin to learn the terminology, and basic positions and movements of the ballet world!

Tumbling tots (ages 4-5)

Bend, twist, and flip with the intro to acro class. Learn flexibility, strength, and basic gym skills on mats to pop style music.

Hip Hop Tots (ages 4-5)

Get your groove on with this street dance class set to funky and age-appropriate jams.  Dancers will work on rhythm and isolations, then incorporate them into upbeat combinations.

Ballet/Tap Combination (ages 4-5 and 6-8)

Dancers will learn the best of both genres by splitting the hour in half! Students will work on basic ballet positions and technique, across the floor movement, tap steps, combinations, and rhythm work. Broadway, here they come!

Ballet/Jazz Combination (ages 5-7)

Dancers will learn the best of both genres by splitting the hour in half! These students will work on the foundation of dance (ballet) and transition into the upbeat genre of jazz technique. Style, confidence, and musicality is strongly emphasized.

Ballet/Lyrical COMBINATION (ages 6-8)

Dancers will learn the best of both genres by splitting the hour in half! They will train in the foundation of dance (ballet) and explore stylistic movement set to new age, classical music.
