Describe your class at J'adore:
My typical class is structured fun, I keep the classical aspects of ballet and try to bring a modern understanding of how it relates to art and dance today. To me ballet is all about technique and freedom, you can’t have one without the other.
What do you hope your students get out of your class and why do you love teaching at J’adore?
This is an easy one, I hope my students get a lot more than just dance out of my classes. I try to teach them skills they will need for life, hard work, discipline, passion, creativity, kindness and self-love. I love teaching at J’adore because I love seeing the growth in my students and the passion they bring.
What inspires you?
Inspirations… everywhere. Movement is so freeing to me and I get inspiration to move from so many things, nature, music, other people, sounds, or feelings. I also get really inspired by students, when they do something I didn’t even know was possible, that inspires to make new movement.
